1. Dig hole for plinth and add membrane
2. Place grid and surround with pea gravel
3. Build raft and secure to brackets
4. Lay foundation bearers from your log kit
5. Secure bearers to raft
6. Build your cabin
Heavy gauge, galvanised plate steel bracket, laser cut and formed cut of one piece, with M30 nut to which allows up to 50mm final adjustment to the level of the building at any stage of the construction.
Top stone 350 x 350 x 125mm
Pre-cast reinforced 50 Newton strength concrete shaped stone with cast in place bearing location for the Swift Bracket on the top and recess underneath for interlocking with the base stones.
This grid has been designed to improve the loading bearing and drainage characteristics of the ground upon which the Swift Foundation sits. Placed into the ground on a square of geotextile membrane and then filled with pea gravel it forms an integral part of the foundation system.
