Combined with Verdeluxe artificial grass, the Shockpad provides a play surface that passes the critical fall height of 1.40m. Each Pro-Play tile interlocks together like a jigsaw to prevent movement once installed. Pro-Play is made from chips of closed polythene foam, whic are extremely resilient. The chips are heat-bonded together leaving air pockets, which provide the give required for the safety tests. A geotextile membrane is fixed over the top of the Pro-Play tile to prevent weed growth and the sand fill (if used) falling between the air pockets. Pro-Play can be easily cut to size with a sharp knife.
